Adidas application online- The Adidas brand started in a simple kitchen in Herzoenaurach, Bavaria. Adolf Dassler and his brother Rudolf Dassler started making shoes in their mothers wash kitchen in 1924 after Adolf, better known as Adi, returned from World War I.
In 1936 Adi took a suitcase full of shoes to the Summer Olympic and persuaded Jesse Owens, an American Sprinter, to use them causing him to be the first sponsored African American. He took home four gold medals launching the brother’s shoes to fame. By World War II the pair was selling about 200,000 pairs of shoes each year.
