Nike application online- In 1964 Philip Knight and his coach Bill Bowerman began selling shoes at track meets. Originally they called their little enterprise Blue Ribbon Sports (BRS) and worked as a distributor for Onitsuka Tiger, a Japanese shoe maker.

By 1967 they were able to open their first retail location. In the beginning of the 70s, as they were nearing the end of their contract with Onitsuka BRS decided to launch its own shoe. The shoe was called Nike, after the Greek goddess of victory and bore the iconic swoosh.

Weekends and holidays will be your busiest time so you will probably want to have more warm bodies on hand.
