Genuardis started in 1920. At this time Gaspare and Justine Genuardis grew fruits and vegetables on a farm in northern Pennsylvania. They then took the goods around the neighbors selling their quality foods. It was another 30 years before they, along with five of their nine children, open the first Genuardis grocery store in 1954. This first store in northern Pennsylvania is still open and is the oldest surviving Genuardis.
The company grew and was bought out by Safeway in 2000.
Genuardis is a typical retail grocery store which means it has to usually list of available jobs. Just because you are a clerk or cashier it doesn’t mean that you have to hang out at the front.
You can work in the bakery, deli, Flora, meat, seafood, or alcoholic beverages. The store positions also include cake decorator, managers, and assistant managers of various departments. Where applicable, store positions also include fuel station attendant and home shopping personal shopper.

Some Genuardis stores even have a full-service pharmacy. They hire certified pharmacists and pharmacy tech missions to ensure that customers get the best service. The pharmacies are maintained by pharmacy manager works with the team to ensure that they are productive and profitable. They even bring in interns to help the pharmacology students gave a much-needed experience under the watchful eye of their staff pharmacist.
Genuardis is own by Safeway so you can work for the distribution centers. There are twelve distribution centers helping to maintain talk in each of its regions. You can fill orders, load trucks, or make deliveries as they have over 4,000 trucks on the road.
Genuardis also physicians and manufacturing through Safeway. You could work at one of their many plants to prepare products that sell in the stores. These plans include: milk, bakery, ice cream, cheese and meat packaging, soft drinks, fruit and vegetable processing, and cake commissary.
