Quiznos got it’s start in Denver, Colorado offering submarine sandwiches. It wasn’t until Rick Schaden, future CEO of Quiznos, bought his first franchise in 1987 that the company began to see major success. Rick loved this company so much that, along with his father, he bought the company in 1991.
From there, they overhauled the company and created buzz around their brand Quiznos, including a new logo and opening up franchises across the USA, then opening up restaurants globally.
