Taco Time is probably one of the first Mexican fast food chains in America, found in Oregon in 1959. In 1962 the business proved to be a good bet and the first franchise emerged in Washington. By the end of the 60’s, there were already 48 locations, and in 1978 the company opened the first international one in Canada.
Taco Time has since expanded, now holding more than 300 franchises in the United States, Canada, Kuwait, and Curaçao/Netherlands Antilles.
Taco Time can’t say their menu is the most original on Earth, but they can surely brag about their quality and diversity. Burritos come first, of course, and the Crisp Pinto Bean Burrito, consisting of refried pinto beans and cheddar cheese, the Crisp Meat Burrito with seasoned lean ground beef and jalapeño cheese sauce and the Crisp Chicken Burrito with all-white chicken, cream cheese, mild green chiles, onions and spices are the first in line for a good meal. There are also some others like the Casita Burrito, the Veggie Burrito and the Big Juan, which are the most popular between 10 to choose from. Then it’s the Tacos, obviously. There all only three tacos, but that’s great, because this way they are ALL favorites, be it the classic and simple Crisp Taco, the Soft Taco with ingredients coming from all sides as it’s so stuffed and the Super Soft Taco, a behemoth of epic (pro)portion.
Nachos & sides are critical to Mexican cuisine, so the chain offers the Nachos Grande, a dish with nachos, refried beans, cheese, sauce, chicken and guacamole, Mexi-fries, Cheddar fries and Stuffed Mexi-Fries, the latter with chopped jalapeños. Empanadas and Cinnamon Crustos top it. To end, two salads that are the delight of every customer, the Taco Salad with lean ground beef or chicken, cheddar cheese and salsa fresca served on shredded lettuce in a crispy flour tortilla bowl and the Tostada Delight with refried beans, cheddar cheese, crisp lettuce, diced tomato, sour cream and lean ground beef or all-white chicken.
Employment is generous at Taco Time, with constant need of applicants to roles like Sales/Marketing, Operations, Training/Development, R&D/Distribution, Construction/Design, General Management, Legal, Restaurant Employment, HR, Finance, Information Technology, Public/Investor Relations, Communications, and General Office Support.
If you’re looking to build a career around achievement and firm values within a company culture based on opportunity and respect, then you are invited to explore career opportunities with Taco Time.
Their perks and benefits are the usual: competitive salaries, meal discounts, advancement opportunities, constant training and, above all, an equal opportunities employer that actually cares.
