Opened in 1975, Zara is a Spanish clothing store. Zara was founded by Amancio Ortega in a central street in downtown A Coruna, Galicai, Spain. Ortega opened the store after working in an “ordinary” clothing store as a seller. He says their “perfectly oriented in the fashion world” ways as being what taught him how to develop a strategy for running his own business.
Today the company’s design team is a well oiled machine that allows them to react to new trends almost instantly. Zara can be found worldwide with over 2,000 stores.
